IN-AJSOP training model reflects latest research and best practices

IN-AJSOP provides structured training programs based on current research models recognized as “best practice.” The training provides a solid therapeutic foundation through didactic and experiential opportunities. Training curriculums specific to the participant’s professional duties are provided. Training is conducted by local and statewide experts in conjunction with credentialed IN-AJSOP faculty.

In addition to the intensive training requirement, participants seeking credentials are required to complete a supervised practicum experience in their work site. Practicum experiences are personally arranged to meet the needs of the participant. Participants are required to submit videotapes and/or work samples demonstrating specialized intervention for review over the course of the practicum. Certification trainers and credentialed faculty provide clinical consultation and review throughout the practicum experience.
