Welcome to IN-AJSOP
6th Annual Conference
Dear Colleagues:
On behalf of IN-AJSOP, Indiana's initiative to advance the treatment of sexually maladaptive youth, I am pleased to invite you to attend the 6th Annual Conference scheduled for May 24-25, 2010 at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. The number of youth who cause sexual harm is on the rise nationally and right here at home. The services our industry professionals provide to youth who have engaged in abusive behaviors are needed now more than ever. Professionals and organizations across Indiana are looking to IN-AJSOP for the latest in best practice standards and to learn skills that will help them provide quality support to the thousands of children and families they serve.
This tough economy means that we are being asked to do more with our limited resources. It has become especially important for industry professionals to stay ahead of the latest trends and best practices, and to plan and execute innovative programming that allows us to continue to offer our clients and our communities the services they need and deserve.
IN-AJSOP's Annual Conference is consistently the most highly regarded professional development event for individuals and organizations that respond to this special population of youth. This year's event, featuring presentations by internationally renowned psychologist and author Alan Jenkins, will continue in this tradition of excellence and meet your continuing education needs.
We must rise to the challenge and stretch ourselves to better serve our clients and our communities. We have to step outside our comfort zones and take on new challenges in our daily work, but also be professionally refreshed. I hope you will seize this opportunity by joining me at IN-AJSOP 2010.
Best,
Dr. Jim L. Dalton, Psy.D., HSPP, CSAYC
